RESOLUTION NO. 1097
A RESOLUTION ADJUSTING WATER AND SEWER RATES FOR THE YEAR 1992.
WHEREAS, Section 12 of Ordinance No. 1866, as amended by Ordinance
No. 1933, states that water rate adjustments will be established by Council action,
and
WHEREAS, Section 11 of Ordinance No, 1932 states that sewer rate
adjustments will be established by Council action, and
WHEREAS, in order for the water and sewer rates to be fiscally
responsible to support service obligations, adjustments and modifications need to be
made, and

expected because of new water test regulations that will require the City to obtain
services of outside EPA approved testing labs, and
WHEREAS, the Council is aware of the future wastewater plant
modification needs, and it has approved facilities planning so that a cost effective
construction alternative can be chosen that will meet the regulatory agency's
requirements, and
WHEREAS, the future budgets must reflect the above considerations and
protect the health and safety of residents, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
