RESOLUTION NO. 1264
A RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF WOODBURN AND A.F.S.C.M.E. LOCAL 75 FOR RECLASSIFICATION OF
CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS. Section 12.2 of the collective bargaining agreement between the
City of Woodburn and AFSCME local 642 prescribed a classification/compensation
survey of the wages of certain categories of employees represented by AFSCME, and
WHEREAS. Section 12.2 of the Agreement also outlines the means of
compensating for any salary changes resulting from the above-described survey, and
WHEREAS. the said survey has been completed by the Local Government
Personnel Institute, and
WHEREAS. as a result of said study, the city has determined that certain
positions merited reclassification beyond the scope of Section 12.2 of the Agreement,
and
WHEREAS. the parties have mutually agreed upon all salary adjustments or
position reclassifications contemplated herein. NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Administrator be authorized to execute the
Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Woodburn and the American
Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), a copy of which
is attached and, by this reference, incorporated herein.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
WHEREAS the parties have reached certain understandings relative to the
classification/compensation surveys provided for in Article 12,2, and related
reclassification matters, the attached revised Appendices C and D are hereby
adopted.
