Res 1461 - Prop Park Ave Surpls COUNCIL BILL NO. 1860 RESOLUTION NO. 1461 A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY LOCATED NEAR PARK AVENUE TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing has been published on the proposed sale of the below-described city property, and WHEREAS, the Woodburn City Council conducted a public hearing on January 12, 1998 to hear testimony concerning said sale, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The description of the involved real property is as follows: Tax Lot No. 5S-1W-8CC6900 (Lot 4; Gar-Lad Addition) Section 2. The Council finds, based upon the staff report dated January 6, 1998 from the City Administrator and upon the public testimony herein presented, that the property is not needed for public use and that it is in the public interest to sell said property. Section 3. The Council further finds that the property is landlocked, without legal access, and that its reasonable fair market value is $1000. Section 4. The Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute, on behalf of the city , a Quit Claim Deed conveying the property to Vladimir Pendov.
