RESOLUTION NO. 1466
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A 1997-98 WETLANDS PLANNING ASSISTANCE
GRANT AND COMMI'ITlNG CERTAIN MATCHING FUNDS TO SAID GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Woodburn applied for a Wetlands Planning Assistance Grant for
Fiscal Year 1997-98 as approved by the Division of State Lands, and
WHEREAS, the City ofW oodburn has been awarded a $33,000 grant and is required to
commit a minimum 25% match, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the grant is to prepare a local wetland inventory, riparian
inventory, functional assessment and designation of significant wetlands, and storm water related
activities, and
WHEREAS, the grant is essential to complete the approved Periodic Review Tasks No.
3a and 4, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Woodburn accept a grant of $33,000 from the State of
Oregon, Division of State Lands.
Section 2. That matching funds of$5,550 from public works funds, as determined by the
public works director, and $7,237.20 in planning and public works in-kind contributions for a
total of$12,787.20 f~oJlfletion of work tasksn no. 3a and 4 are committed to said grant.
