Res 1706 - Park, NU Hourly Sche COUNCIL BILL NO. 2427 RESOLUTION NO. 1706 A RESOLUTION RE-ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION SCHEDULE FOR HOURL Y AND SEASONAL EMPLOYEES. WHEREAS, the City Council is obligated per Section 11 ofthe Woodburn City Charter to establish compensation for each City officer and employee; and WHEREAS, on October 14,2002, the City Council enacted Resolution No. 1699 which established an hourly rate schedule for certain city employees; and WHEREAS, a state-wide ballot measure was adopted by the voters at the November 5, 2002 general election which increased the minimum wage paid to employees effective January 1, 2003; and WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to adopt a hourly rate schedule to maintain compliance with State law and maintain proper equity compensation between classifications; now, therefore, THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The hourly rate schedule for Park & Recreation Program part- time/seasonal employees (Exhibit A), and the hourly rate schedule for Part-Time/Seasonal employees (Exhibit B) is hereby adopted effective January 1,2003, a copy of the exhibits are attached for reference.
