Res 1634 -Pamela Kilmurray Serv COUNCIL BILL NO. 2325 RESOLUTION NO. 1634 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN HONORING PAMELA KILMURRA Y FOR HER DEDICATION TO THE WELL BEING OF ITS CITIZENS. WHEREAS, Pamela Kilmurray has been a long-time Woodburn Resident and maintains an active interest in Community affairs, issues, and projects; and WHEREAS, Pamela Kilmurray was elected in November, 1998 to the seat of City Councilor for the Third Ward; and WHEREAS, Pamela Kilmurray brings many positive talents and traits to her service on the City Council, among them a broad management perspective, caring and consideration, objectivity and critical thinking, and a team-oriented approach to decision making; and WHEREAS, Pamela Kilmurray, in exercising her talents as a City Councilor has, in addition to weathering the rigors of a highly responsible, often stressful, and always time consuming job, faithfully executes the responsibilities of her office and dutifully serves the residents of the third ward, and of the entire city; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Kilmurray has purchased a new home and moved outside the third ward boundaries, necessitating her resignation from the City Council. Now, Therefore: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: In expression of its appreciation for the commitment of time, energy, enthusiasm, and effort Pamela Kilmurray expended as a City Councilor and for the outstanding job she performed for the benefit and well being of the residents of the third ward and the City of Woodburn, the City Council extends its best wishes for her success in the future - may it bring her a full measure of the endowments which dedication to community service so richly deserves.
