Ord 2213 - Supp Budget 97-98 COUNCIL BILL NO. 1880 ORDINANCE NO. 2213 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Oregon State Statute 294.480 allows for the adoption of a supplemental budget during a fiscal year to meet changes in financial planning, and WHEREAS, the Notice of Supplemental Budget Hearing and Financial Summary was published in the Woodburn Independent on March 25,1998 as required under State budget law; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on April 13, 1998 to give citizens an opportunity to comment on the proposed 1997-98 supplemental budget, now, therefore, THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the supplemental budget for fiscal year 1997-98 is hereby adopted as set forth below. Section 2. That the City Recorder shall file with the Department of Revenue, State of Oregon, a true copy of the supplemental budget as finally adopted in accordance with Oregon Revised Statute 294.555 Section 4. That if any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or portion of this ordinance for any reason shall be adjudged invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, section or portion of this ordinance directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment is rendered. Section 5.
