ORDINANCE NO. 2214
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES ADOPTING THE 1993 OREGON
MECHANICAL SPECIALTY CODE, THE 1993 OREGON STRUCTURAL SPECIALTY
CODE, THE 1993 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, THE 1992 OREGON PLUMBING
SPECIALTY CODE, THE 1993 1 & 2 FAMILY DWELLING SPECIALTY CODE, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the State of Oregon adopted the 1993 Oregon Mechanical Specialty Code,
the 1993 Oregon Structural Specialty Code, the 1993 National Electrical Code, the 1992 Oregon
Plumbing Specialty Code, the 1993 1 & 2 Family Dwelling Specialty Code; and
WHEREAS, the City, by Ordinance No. 2212, recently adopted the most current versions
of the above-referenced codes and impliedly repealed the prior codes versions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wants to specifically repeal the ordinances adopting the
prior versions of the codes; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 2101. adopting the 1993 Oregon Mechanical Specialty Code is
hereby specifically repealed.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 2102, adopting the 1993 Oregon Structural Specialty Code is
hereby specifically repealed.
Section 3. Ordinance No. 2126, adopting the 1993 National Electrical Code is hereby
specifically repealed.
Section 4. Ordinance No. 2127, adopting the 1992 Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code is
hereby specifically repealed.
Section 5. Ordinance No. 2128, adopting the 1993 I & 2 Family Dwelling Specialty
Code is hereby specifically repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect
