COUNCIL BILL NO. 1624
ORDINANCE NO. 2144
AN ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A BEQUEST RECEIVED FROM
THE ESTATE OF MARTHA EISENEGGER DURING FISCAL YEAR 1994-95, AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised statutes 294.326 provides for the
expenditure of bequests transferred to a municipal corporation for
a specific purpose, and
WHEREAS, the city Council adopted Resolution No. 1283 on
March 13, 1995, accepting a bequest from the estate of Martha
Eisenegger to be used for the Woodburn Community Center, now,
therefore,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. That the appropriations within the Parks and
Recreation Fund be increased for fiscal year 1994-95:

section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, in
that adoption of the appropriations will insure the availability of
funds when the improvements are completed, an emergency is declared
to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
