with terms to expire in December, 1994.

was nominated - no objections - ballots were cast and
counted - MAYor Kyser declared Dick Jennings to be the

Purpose: receive information on potential design element
relating to the improvement of Highway 99E between
North City limit and Highway 214/211 intersection
- discussion - Consensus of Council not to provide a
median strip on Highway 99E and that money saved be
used on other improvement projects within City that
involve State Highway Department
Consensus of Council that realignment of Highway
214/Country Club Rd/Oregon Way be a priority on this
particular project.

PROCLAMATION: FIRE PREVENTION WEEK - October
7 - 13, 1990
It was the consensus of the Council that the Woodburn
Fire Department should be changed to Woodburn Fire
District
league of Oregon Cities Conference to be held on
November 10-12, 1990 in Portland. It was the consensus
of the Council to select the voting delegate at the
October 22nd Council meeting - suggested that new
Councilors be afforded the opportunity to attend
conference
Special Council meeting scheduled for October 15, 1990
to consider an agreement with CH2M Hill for professional
services relating to Phase I of WWTP facilities plan; site
review of Hardware Wholesalers, Inc. - workshop to
follow meeting to address concerns of downtown
residents and business owners

(Finance) award presented to Council by Administrator
