This time will be for presenting these issues, deliberation and direction. Presentation and Review of Current Fiscal & Financial Policy Issues Including: General Fund Shortfalls, Utility Fund Status, SDCs, etc. 10:00AMMid-Morning Bus Tour():2Hours City Council Only Session Summary The bustour will include department head presentations and . visits to key areas within the community. The goal is to provide a hands-on review of our successes, current challenges and the potential for futureprojects. 12:00 PMWorking Lunch (Provided) &Continued Discussion of Fiscal Issues:2 Hours Alternative General Fund Strategies & Discussion. Discussion: Develop Budget & Program FundingPriorities. 2:00 PMGoal Discussion/Development:1 Hours Session Summary . Our goal development time will be used to review the status of previously adopted goals as well as formulating, developingand prioritizing new City Council goals and issues Brief Review of Current Goals,Objectives &Vision Statement, etc. City Council Discussion of Current Issues & Goal Interests. Identification of Potential Goals &Projects. Prioritization of FY 2013/14 Goals. 3:00 PMGeneral Business Review:1 Hour Session Summary This portion of the meeting is the semiannual “checking-in” . review of our basic business practices. The objective is to review how things are going and if any adjustments are needed. Council Meetings: How Are They Going? Are Agendas & Staff Reports Meeting Your Needs? Communications: BetweenCouncilors, City Administrator& Community. 4:00PMAdjourn Breaks as needed andlunch around noon Itinerary for Goal Setting Bus Tour (10 AM) Walk toAssociation Building and tour facility Leave Association Building, board a Woodburn Transit Bus and then drive from Downtown Woodburn up Young Street and look at the intersection of Highway 99E and Young Street as well as the connectivity problems facing area neighborhoods We will then travel down Highway 99E to Legion Park and get an update on future projects for the park From Legion Park we will head to the Industrial Parkand look at opportunities there We will then head to The Estates and drive through to the Evergreen Road Park & Ride where will go over the Interchange project and how businesses will redevelop We will then travel to Willow Avenue (near Soul’s Harbor Church of the Nazarene) and talk about the Urban Growth Boundary expansion project We will then take a look at the proposed Urban Growth Boundary area and head over to Parr Road to Centennial Park From Centennial Park we will head down Front Street to Settlemier Park and the Aquatic Center before returning to City Hall
