Woodburn City Council minutes of June 24, 2013 B. Woodburn Public Art Mural Committee minutes of March 20, 2013 C. Woodburn Public Art Mural Committee minutes of May 14, 2013 D. Woodburn Public Art Mural Committee minutes of June 5, 2013 McCallum/Lonergan... adopt the Consent Agenda. The motion passed unanimously. 0:03 PUBLIC HEARINGS A. A Public Hearing to consider the update of the Woodburn Development Ordinance, Legislative Amendment 2012 -01. Mayor Figley continued the hearing at 7:07. Economic and Development Director Hendryx provided a staff report that outlined the summary of changes to be made to the ordinance. Mayor Figley closed the hearing at 7:10. Lonergan/McCallum.... direct staff to prepare an Ordinance with the ten amended items listed in the summary sheet for City Council consideration at the August 12, 2013 meeting. Motion passed unanimously. 1:16 CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT City Administrator Derickson informed the council that he will be at a conference taking classes the rest of the week. He also mentioned that historically the second meeting in August is cancelled and he plans on cancelling it this year as well unless otherwise directed. He also announced that Executive Legal Assistant Kim Veliz is in attendance at the meeting being cross trained by City Recorder Pierson. 010 MAYOR AND COUNCIL REPORTS Councilor Morris reminded people that the Community BBQ will be taking place on July Page 1 - Council Meeting Minutes, July 8, 2013 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES JULY 89 2013 I la' at Centennial Park. Councilor Ellsworth mentioned that the Downtown Woodburn Unidos board presented certificates of appreciation to businesses downtown in appreciation for their landscaping efforts. Mayor Figley reminded the public that Relay for Life will take place on July 12th at Centennial Park. Councilor McCallum announced that METCOM is now the new 911 agency and congratulated Chief Russell on being elected as the boards first Chair. Councilor Lonergan announced that the Mural Committee approved its first mural application and that there is a kick -off celebration on Saturday. He also stated that he has heard complaints about the Pix Theater being a dangerous building and requested that staff look into what the City can do in determining if this is a safe building. o:» ADJOURNMENT McCallum/Lonergan .... meeting be adjourned.
