Ord 1456COUNCIL BILL N0, 182 ORDINANCE N0, 1456 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM A RM RESIDENTIAL MULTIFAMILY DISTRICT TO A CO COMMERCIAL OFFICE DISTRICT; DIRECTING THE AMENDMENT OF THE ZONING MAP; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Woodburn Zoning Ordinance and the Woodburn Zoning Map made pursuant to said ordinance have heretofore established certain use zones or districts within the City of Woodburn, and WHEREAS, zone change proceedings have heretofore been had before the Woodburn Planning Commission and the Common Council in accordance with Chapter 16 of the Woodburn Zoning Ordinance, and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Woodburn deems this reclassification to be in the public interest and to be in satisfaction of a general public need, now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN: Section 1, That the following described property within the City of Woodburn, Marion County, State of Oregon is hereby reclassified from a RM Residential Multifamily District to a CO Commercial Office District: Lot 1, Block 3, Woodburn Packing Company Addition to the City of Woodburn, Marion County, Oregon Section 2, That the City Manager is hereby directed to correct the Woodburn Zoning Map to the reclassification herein made. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preser- vation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
