Ord 1597COUNCIL BILL NO. 415 ORDINANCE N0. 1597 AN ORDINANCE RFCLASSIFYTNG CERTAIN PRQPERTY LOCATED IN THE wOQDBURN INDUSTRIAL PARK FROM INDUSTRIAL PARK SIP) TO INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL tIC); ANA DIRECTING AN AMENDMENT OF THE ZONING MAP. WHEREAS, Woodburn Zoning Ordinance and Woodburn Zoning Map made pursuant to said ordinance have heretofore established certain use zones or districts within the City of Woodburn; and WHEREAS, the woodburn Planning Commission has recommended a zone change of the property described herein and has made its findings which have been considered by this Council; and WHEREAS, the zone change recommendation has been con- sidered and the findings of the Planning Commission adopted by this Council in accordance with the ordinances of the City of Woodburn; and W~fEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Woodburn deems the reclassification to be in the public interest, satisfy a general public need, and further implements the intent and purpose of the Woodburn Land Use Plan; now therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODHURN Da ORDAIN: Section 1. The following described property within the City of woodburn is hereby reclassified from Industrial Park SIP) to Industrial Commercial SIC): Beginning at a point where the North line of a tract of land conveyed to J. A. Fobert and Juanita Fobert, husband and wife, by deed recorded in Volume 53a, Page 235 of Deed Records for Marion County, Oregon, intersects the westerly line of Highway 99E; thence South 32° West along Page 1 'COUNCIL BILL N0. 415 ORDINANCE N0. 1597 the Westear~.y line of said k~ighway 4.846 chains; thence South 32° West along the Westerly line of said Highway 757.47 feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 32° East along the Westerly line of said Highway 757.47 feet; thence West 4.846 chains; thence Westerly (at right angle to the West line of said highway) to a point which is 500 feet from the Westerly line of said highway; thence South 32° West parallel with the Westerly line of said highway 1450 feet, more or less, to the most Northerly corner of Lot 2, Industrial park Addition No. 2, Marion County, Oregon; thence South 57° 56' 27" East 500.0 feet to the mast Easterly corner of said lat; thence North 32° East 845.00 feet, more or less, to the true point of beginning, being situate in Section 8, Township 5 South, Range 1 West of the Willamette Meridian in Marion County, Oregon. ALSO, any portion of Highway 99E lying adjacent to and within the extension of the sidelines of such described property. Section 2. That the City Administrator is hereby directed to correct the Woodburn Zoning Map to the reclassification herein made. .~' ,. BURRIS, Recorder of the City of Woodburn, do hereby certify that I caused to be posted three copies of Ordinance No. 1597, one of which said copies posted in the City Hall on the bulletin board opposite the entrance to the Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling public; a second one of said copies posted on the Woodburn Public Library bulletin board at 280 Garfield Street, in full view of the traveling public; a third one of said copies posted on the Community Center bulletin board at 491 N.
