Ord 1603COUNCIL BILL N0. 424 ORDINANCE N0. 1603 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE VICINITY OF SENIOR ESTATES FROM RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (RS} TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL SPECIAL DISTRICT (R1S); AND DIRECTING THE AMENDMENT OF THE ZONING MAP. WHEREAS, Woodburn Zoning Ordinance and the Woodburn Zoning Map made pursuant to said ordinance have heretofore established certain use zones or districts within the City of Woodburn; and WHEREAS, zone change proceedings have heretofore been had before the Woodburn Planning Commission and the Common Council in accordance with Chapter 16 of the Woodburn Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Woodburn deems this reclassification to be in the public interest and to be in satisfaction of a general public need; now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURIVT DO ORDAITd: Section 1. That the following described property within the City of Woodburn, Marion County, State of Oregon, is hereby reclassified from Residential Single Family District (RS) to Single Family Residential Special District {R1S}: Beginning at a point South 89° 41' 30" East 497.10 feet from the Southwest corner of Section 6 in Township 5 South, Range 1 West of the Willamette I~~eridian in T~arion County, Oregan, which point is also the Southeast corner of Tract I described in deed recorded in Book 576, Page 419, Deed Records for Marion County, Oregon; thence North 0° 30' East 1574.43 feet to the Northeast corner of said tract and on the North line of a tract of land conveyed to Ray J. Glatt and wife, by deed recorded in Book 282, Page 512, Deed Records for Marion County, Oregon; thence South 89° 03' East to the Northeast corner of said Glatt tract; thence South 1° 47' Page 1 - COUNCIL BILL N0. 424. ORDINANCE N0. 1603 West 1559.6 feet to the Southeast corner of said Glatt tract; thence South 89° 57' West to the point of beginning. SAVE AND EXCEPT: A tract of land situated in the Southwest quarter of Section 6, Township 5 South, Range 1 West of the Willamette Meridian in Marion County, Oregon, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a one inch iron pipe marking the Northeast corner of Lot 5, Block 53, Woodburn Senior Estates No. 5, and running thence from this the true point of beginning; South 88° 41' 30" East 902.31 feet along the Southerly boundary line of that tract of land described in Book 541, Page 581, Deed Records for Marion County, Oregon, to a one-half inch iron pipe; thence South 02° 09' 30" West 650.00 feet along the Westerly boundary line of that tract of land described in Book 401, Page 70, Deed Records for Marion County, Oregon, to afive-eights inch iron rod with an aluminum cap; thence Northwesterly along the arc of a 1010.00 foot radius curve to the right, to afive-eights inch iron rod with an aluminum cap, the long chord bears North 78° 21' 23" West 332.89 feet; thence North 68° 52' 42" West 7.08 feet to afive-eights inch iron rod with an aluminum cap; thence Northwesterly along the arc of a 554.99 foot radius curve to the left to a five- eights inch iron rod with an aluminum cap, the long chord bears North 84° 06' 59" West 291.87 feet; thence Southwesterly along the arc of a 1430.00 foot radius curve to the right, to afive-eights inch iron rod with an aluminum cap on the Easterly boundary line of Woodburn Senior Estates No. 5, the long chord bears South 86° 04' 10" West 270.69 feet; thence North Ol° 30' East 589.24 feet along said Easterly boundary line to the point of beginning.
