Ord 1619COUNCIL BILL N0. 44$ ORDINANCE N0. 1619 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1231, REGULATING TRADES, BUSINESSES AND DEVICES, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN: Section 1. Section 2(3} of Ordinance No. 1231 is amended to read: "(3} In addition to amusement machines, music machines, pool or billiard tables, the following shall also require licenses: bowling alleys, carnivals or circuses, medicine or street shows, shooting galleries, skating rinks, motion picture theaters, transient dealers and suppliers of amusement machines, music machines, pool and billiard tables when such devices are supplied to two or more premises not owned by the supplier." Section 2. Section 9(1} of Ordinance No. 1231 is repealed. Section 3. Section 14 of Ordinance No. 1231 is amended to read: "Section 14. Seizure. In addition to any other penalties which may be imposed, all unlicensed amuse- ment machines, music machines, and all pool and billi- ard tables maintained on unlicensed premises which are required to be licensed by this ordinance shall seazed by the police and, upon final conviction of the offender, shall become the property of the city to be disposed of as shall be directed by the municipal judge, either by destruction or sale thereof. The proceeds, if any, of such sale shall be paid into the general fund and shall be the sole property of the City of Woodburn." Section 4. Third St., in full view of the traveling public; that all of said places are public places within the corporate limits of the City of Woodburn and all of said copies were posted on the day of June 1978. .,.
