ORDINANCE N0. 1634
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN ORDINANCES TO PROVIDE
FOR CIVIL INFRACTIOi'~ PROCEDURE AND ASSESSMENT.
The people of the city of Woodburn do ordain:
Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1568 is
amended to read:
"Section 4. CityInfraction Assessment. A
violation of any provision of this ordinance consti-
tutes a Class 1 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No. 1610 (Civil Infractions) . "
Section 2, Section 8 of Ordinance No, 1180 is
amended to read:
"Section $. City Infraction Assessment. A
violation of any provision of this ordinance consti-
tutes a Class 1 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No. 1610 (Civil Infractions)."
Section 3. Section 28 of Ordinance No. 985 is
amended to read:
"Section 28. Cit Infraction Assessment, A
violation of any provision of this ordinance consti-
tutes a Class 1 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No . 1610 (Civil Infractions } . "
Section 4. Section 17 of Ordinance No, 1231 is
amended to read:
"Section 17. Cit Infraction Assessment. A
violation of any provision of this or finance consti-
tutes a Class 2 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No. 1610 (Civil Infractions}."
Section 5. Ordinance No, 1015 is amended by the
addition of a new Section 4A to read as follows:
"Section 4A. Cit~Infraction Assessment. A
violation of any provision of this ordinance consti-
tutes a Class 3 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No. 1610 (Civil Infractions} ."

Section 6, Section 14 of Ordinance No, 1358 is
amended to read:
"Section l4, CitInfraction Assessment. A
violation of any provision of this ordinance consti-
tutes a Class 2 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No. 1610 (Civil Infractions), A separate
infraction will be deemed to occur on each calendar
day that the~,nfraction continues to exist, and a
separate citation may be filed for each such infrac-
t ion . "
Section 7. Ordinance No, 1434 is amended by the
addition of a new Section 3A to read as follows:
"Section 3A, CitY Infraction Assessment, A

violation of any provision of this ordinance consti-
tutes a Class 2 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No, 1610 (Civil Infractions)."
Section 8, Section 9 of Ordinance No, 1439 is
amended to read:
"Section 9, City Infraction Assessment, A
violation of any provision of this ordina cn e consti-
tutes a Class 1 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No, 1610 (Civil Infractions)."
Section 9, Section 6 of Ordinance No, 1565 is
amended to read:
"Section 6. City Infraction Assessment, A
violation of any provision of this ordina cn e consti-
tutes a Class 2 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No, 1610 (Civil Infractions), A separate
infraction will be deemed to occur on each calendar
day that the infraction continues to exist, and a
separate citation may be filed for each such infrac-
tion."
Section 10. Section 10 of Ordinance No. 1620 is
amended to read:
"Section 10, City Infraction Assessment, A
violation of any provision of thi o dinance consti-
tutes a Class 1 city infraction and shall be dealt
with according to the procedures established by
Ordinance No, 1610 (Civil Infractions),"

amended to read:

tion, "
Section 12, Section 6 of Ordinance No, 1079 is
amended to read:
"Section 6. City ,.Infraction Assessment. A

ORDINANCE NO. 1634
I, BARNEY 0. BURRIS, Recorder of the City of Woodburn, do
hereby certify that I caused to be posted three copies of
Ordinance No. 1634, one of which said copies posted in the
City Hall on the bulletin board adjacent to the entrance to
the Recorder's Offices in full view of the traveling public;
a second one of said copies posted on the Woodburn Public
Library bulletin board at 280 Garfield Street, in full view
of the traveling public; a third one of said copies posted
on the Community Center bulletin board at 491 N. Third St.,
in full view of the traveling public; that all of said places
are public places within the corporate limits of the City
of Woodburn and all of said copies were posted on the
12th day of July , 1978,
