Ord 1642COUNCIL BILL N0. 473 ORDINANCE N0. 1642 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH AND ADJACENT TO THE WOODBURN INDUSTRIAL PARK, FROM RESIDENTIAL AGRI- CULTURE DISTRICT (RA) TO INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT (IP); AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Woodburn Zoning Ordinance and the Woodburn Zoning Map made pursuant to said ordinance have heretofore established certain use zones or districts within the City of Woodburn; and WHEREAS, zone change proceedings have heretofore been had before the Woodburn Planning Commission and the Common Council in accordance with Chapter 16 of the Woodburn Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Woodburn deems this reclassification to be in the public interest and to be in satisfaction of a general public need; now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN: Section 1. That the following described property within the City of Woodburn, ~~larion County, State of Oregon, is hereby reclassified from Residential Agriculture District (RA) to Industrial Park District (IP): A tract of land situated in Sections 4 and 5, Township 5 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Marion County, State of Oregon, described as follows: Beginning at a 5/8 inch iron rod set inside a one-inch brass pipe marking the Southeast corner of the P. M. Gleeson D.L.C. No. 49; thence North 89° 33' 21" West 770 feet, more or less, to the Westerly right-Of-way of Market Road 70 (Woodburn-Hubbard Highway); thence Southwesterly along the Westerly right-of-way of Market Road 70 a distance of 742.50 feet to the existing Page 1 - COUNCIL BILL N0. 473 ORDINANCE N0. 1642 Northerly limit of the City of Woodburn; thence Easterly along the existing Northerly limit of the City of Woodburn to the Easterly right-of-way of Pacific High- way 99E; thence Northeasterly along the Easterly right- of-way of Pacific Highway 99E 1290 feet, more or less, to the North line of the Truman Bonney D.L.C. TJo. 61; thence South 89° 54` 30" West along said North line to the East line of the P. M. Gleeson D.L.C. No. 49; thence South 0° 54' 26" West along said East line 48.03 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. That the City Administrator is hereby directed to correct the Woodburn Zoning Map to the reclassification herein made. Section 3.
