Ord 1679COUPJCIL BILL N0. 530 ORDINANCE N0. 1619 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING E~OODBURN 2000 CO~~PREHENSIVE PLAN P,S THE OFFICIAL COP~iPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF 'rJ00DBURN. ~A~HEREAS, comprehensive plans are necessary for the betterment of the community and orderly growth for the city, and !~lHEREAS, State law requires that cities make comprehensive plans... to provide far the orderly development of such cities, and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City finds that "hJoodburn 2000 Comprehensive Plan" meets all applicable Land Conservation and Development Commission goals, now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBUR,N DO ORDAIN: Section 1. The Woodburn Common Council hereby adopts "~~loodburn 2000 Comprehensive Plan" as the official comprehensive plan far the City of Woodburn. Section 2. One copy of the Comprehensive Plan shall be filed with the City Recorder and one copy shall be filed with the Secretary of the Planning Commission to be available for public inspection upon demand. Section 3. The procedure fora change to the text in the Gompre- hensive Plan shall be the same as the procedure for changing the text as prescribed in the Woodburn Zoning Code. Section 4. The procedure fora change to the Comprehensive Pian Map shall follow the same procedure as a change in the zone map as prescribed in the Woodburn Zone Code. BURRIS, Recorder of the City of Woodburn, do hereby certify that I caused to be posted three copies of Ordinance No. 1679, one of which said copies posted in the City Hall on the bulletin board adjacent to the entrance to the Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling public; a second one of said copies posted on the Woodburn Public Library bulletin board at 280 Garfield Street, in full view of the traveling public; a third one of said copies posted on the Community Center bulletin board at 491 N.
