ORDINANCE N0. 1684
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1979-80, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, ORS 294.480 of the Local Budget Law provides
that a municipal corporation may make a supplemental budget for
the fiscal year for which the regular budget has been prepared,
under certain circumstances, provided such supplemental budget
does not extend beyond the end of the fiscal year during which
it is submitted, and provided no increased tax levy shall be
made, and
WHEREAS, said statute provides that among the circum-
stances authorizing the preparation of a supplemental budget is
the unanticipated availability of funds from another unit of
federal, state, or local government, and
WHEREAS, the adoption of such supplemental budget will
not require any further or increased tax levy and shall not ex-
tend beyond the end of the fiscal year during which it is sub-
mitted, and
WHEREAS, proceedings. and publications have here-
tofore been had and made as required by said statute, now, there-
fore,
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the supplemental budget for the fiscal
year 1979-80, prepared by the Budget Officer, accorded a public

hearing on September 15, 1979, and approved by the Budget Com-
mittee; first published September 19, 1979 and last published
September 26, 1979, and accorded a public hearing on October 8,
1979, is hereby adopted.

Section 2. That the revenue resources and expenditure
requirements of said supplemental buget are hereby declared to be
as follows:

Ordinance No. 1684, one of which said copies posted in the
City Hall on the bulletin board adjacent to the entrance
to the Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling

full view of the traveling public; a third one of said
