Ord 1698COUNCIL BILL N0. 559 ORDINANCE N0. 1698 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS ~IITHIN A FUND DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes allow the transfer of appropriations within a given fund after the budget has been approved and during the year for which the appropriations are made, and WHEREAS, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program has a need to transfer budget appropriations from Personnel Services to Materials and Services to meet the Volunteer mileage reimbursement expenditures, and from Personnel Services to Capital Outlay for the purchase of new equipment. The Park and Recreation Fund has a need to transfer budget appropriations in the Park- General Services Program from Personnel Services and Materials and Services to Capital Outlay for the purchase of new equipment and shop space, now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF 6~JOODBURN DO ORDAIN: Section 1. That the following budget transfer of apprapriations is hereby authorized: Federal Programs Fund R.S.V.P. Project: Transfer From: Personnel Services $3,775.00 Transfer To: Materials & Services $3,449.00 Capital Outlay 326.00 Park and Recreation Fund Park - General Services: Transfer From: Personnel Services $1,000.00 Materials & Services 1,523.00 Transfer To: Capital Outlay $2,523.00 Page 1 - COUNCIL BILL ~d0. 559 ORDINANCE N0. 1698 Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, in that there is a present need for the expenditures and the expenditures cannot be made until the appropriation transfer is authorized, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
