AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS APdD DONATIOPaS RECEIVED DURING THE FISCAL
YEAR 1979-80, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS THEREFORE, A"JD DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
~~HEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes provide for the expenditure of
grants. and gifts transferred to a municipal corporation for specific purposes
in the year of receipt, and
I~HEREAS, an Emergency Medical Services grant will be received from
the Department of Human Resources and gifts will be received from the
~~oodburn Junior ~lomen's Club and the G~loodburn Emergency Rescue Car and Equipment
Trust Account for the purpose of purchasing a hydraulic operated extrication
tool, now, therefore,
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ~lOODBURN DO ORDAIN:
Section 1. That appropriations be established and increased as
follows:

Section 2. That the amounts as delineated in Section 1 are hereby
authorized to be appropriated for their specific purpose.
Section 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, in that there is a
present need for the expenditure delineated in Section 1 and the expenditure
cannot be made until the appropriation is adopted, an emergency is declared
to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by
the Council and approval by the Mayor.

hereby certify that I caused to be posted three copies of
Ordinance No. 1699, one of which said copies posted in the
City Hall on the bulletin board adjacent to the entrance to
the Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling public;
a second one of said copies posted on the W~xx~burn Public
Iabrary bulletin board at 280 Garfield Street, in full view
of the traveling public; a third one of said copies posted
