AN ORDI~JANCE AUTHOP,IZING Tf~E TRANSFER OF FUNDS REMAINING IN THE COMMUNITY BLOCK
GRANT FUND TO THE GE~JEP,AL FUND.
tikJHEREAS, the need has been satisfied for maintaining the Community Develop-
ment Block Grant Fund, Grant #B-75-DS-41-0006, and
WHEREAS, the Federal Grant Funds in the amount of $120,000.00 were applied
to authorized costs related to the development of the Community Center and the
Housing Assistance Program, and
4dHEREAS, local funds were transferred from the General Fund in 1976-71
in the amount of $14,503.00, and in 1978-79 in the amount of $1,177.00, to satisfy
certain Grant requirements, and
WHEREAS, the compliance audit has been completed and all finances and
accounting found to be in order, and
WHEREAS, there remains unexpended in the Community Block Grant Funca
$1,963.36, and
I~JHEREAS, the necessity for the maintaining of the Community Block Fund
has ceased to exist, and
WHEREAS, O.R.S. 294.475 enables the Common Council to transfer such funds
to the General Fund, now, therefore,
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN:
Section 1. It is hereby ordered that the necessity for maintaining the
Community Block Grant Fund has ceased to exist and that the funds in the amount of
$1,963.36 be transferred to the General Fund.

hereby certify that I caused to be posted three copies~~of
Ordinance No. 1703, one of which said copies posted in the.
City Hall on the bulletin board adjacent to the entrance to
the Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling public;
a second one of said copies posted on the Woodburn Public
Library bulletin board at 280 Garfield Street, in full view
of the traveling public; a third one of said copies posted
on the O~m~unity Center bulletin board at 491 N. 'bird St.,
in full view of the traveling public; that all of said
places are public places within the corporate limits of the
City of Woodburn and all of said copies were posted on the
