Ord 1706COUNCIL BILL NO 569 ORDINAP~CE NO 1706 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STATE HIGH~IAY 214, EAST OF INTERSTATE-5, AND WEST OF PRINCETOPJ ROAD FROM RS ( SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO PA (PUBLIC AMUSEMENT). WHEREAS, the Woodburn Zoning Ordinance and the Woodburn Zoning Map made pursuant to said ordinance have heretofore established certain use zones or districts within the City of Woodburn; and ~~HEREAS, zone change proceedings have heretofore been had before the '~oodburn Planning Commission and the Common Council in accord- ance with Chapter 16 of the l~oodburn Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Woodburn deems this reclassification to be in the public interest in that when the subject property was annexed to the City of Woodburn a new zoning designation was assigned; and WHEREAS, the Common Council finds that a PA (Public Amusement) zoning designation is a more appropriate classification than RS (Single Family Residential); now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDIAN: Section 1. That the following described property within the City of ~loodburn, Marion County, State of Oregon, is hereby reclassified from RS (Single Family Reside~~ntial) to PA (Public Amusement): Page 1 - COUNCIL BILL N0. 569 ORDINANCE N0. 1706 Beginning at an iron monument on the southerly right-of-way line of the Baldock Freeway U. S, 99 from whence the most easterly northeast corner of the William Darst Donation Land Claim, Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 2 West of the Willamette Meridian, Marion County, Oregon, bears South 88° l8' 30" East 1,028,50 feet and running; thence South 35° 57' West 1,636,12 feet along the southerly right-of-oay pine of the Baldock Freeway to a 1/2-inch iron pipe; thence South 88 48 East 344.48 feet to a ]/Z-inch iron pipe; thence North Ol 12 East 124.39 feet to a 3/4-inch iron pipe; thence South 880 48' East 611,07 feet to a 1/2-inch iron pipe; thence South 45 20 East 215.26 feet to a 1/2-inch iron pipe; thence South 00 12` 30" East 1,242.93 feet parallel to Country Club Road to a 1/2-inch pipe on the northerly right-of-way line of Rainier Road; thence South 880 45' East 495.24 feet parallel to State Highway 214 to an iron monument, said monument being the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 31, Senior Estates Subdivision Number three; thence North O1° 30' East 80.00 feet along the westerly boundary of said Senior Estates Subdivision to an iron monument; thence Pdorth 100 50' West 566.60 feet along the westerly boundary of said Senior Estates Subdivision to an iron monument; thence North Ol° 30' East 1,865.25 feet along the westerly boundary of Senior Estates Subdivision Plumber three and prolongation thereof to an iron monument; thence North 31° 30' East 450.00 feet to an iron monument; thence North 010 30' East 281.67 feet to an iron monument; thence proceeding on the arc of a curve with a radius of 186.41 feet whose long chord bears Pdorth 51° 21' West 175.18 feet to an iron monument; thence North 23° 20' West 80.45 feet to an iron monument; thence North 88° 30' West 113.15 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of the Baldock Freeway, U, S. 99; thence South 35° 57' West 579.76 feet along the southerly right-of-way line of the Baldock Freeway to an iron monument; thence South~~01° 37' 30" West 334.41 feet to an iron monument; thence North 88 18 30 West 228,10 feet to the point of beginning and containing 50.2 acres, more or less.
