Ord 1708COUNCIL BILL N0. 578 ORDINANCE N0. 1708 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DONATIONS AND GRANTS RECEIVED DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGE~JCY. WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes provide for the expenditure of donations and grants transferred to a municipal corporation for specific purposes in the year of receipt, and WHEREAS, a donation has been received from the 6~~oodburn Men's Softball League for the purpose of renovating the Settlemier Park ballfield, a grant has been received from the Older Americans Act, Title III, for the purpose of providing transportation services, and Comprehensive Employment and Training grants have been received far the purpose of employing a Library Assistant II and a Clerk I, now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF 1~00DBURN DO ORDIAN: Section 1. That the amounts delineated in Section 1 are hereby authorized to be appropriated for their specific purpose. Section 3.
