ORDINANCE N0. 1716
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN A FUND
DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes allow the transfer of appropriations
within a given fund after the budget has been approved and during the year for
which the appropriations are made, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to transfer appropriations within various
city funds to meet estimated expenditures within designated budget categories
during the fiscal year I979-80, now, therefore,
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the following budget transfer of appropriations
is hereby authorized:
Parks and Recreation Fund:
Transfer From:
Materials & Services (Account #25730) $600.00
Transfer To:
Capital Outlay (Account #25165 $600.00
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, in that there is a present need for the
expenditures and the expenditures cannot be made until the appropriation
transfer is authorized, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance
shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by
the Mayor.

I, BARNEY 0. BURRIS, Recorder of the City of Woodburn, do
hereby certify that I caused to be posted three copies of
Ordinance No. 1716, one of which said copies were posted
in the City Hall on the bulletin board opposite the entrance
to the Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling
public; a second one of said copies posted on the Woodburn
Public Library bulletin board at 280 Garfield St., in full
view of the traveling public; a third one of said copies
posted on the Community Center bulletin board at 491 N.
Third St., in full view of the traveling public; that all
of said places are public places within the corporate
limits of the City of Woodburn and all of said copies were
posted on the 10th day of June , 1980.
