ORDINANCE N0. 1728
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1518, KNOWN AS THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN, RELATING TO STORM WATER MANAGEMENT AND TRANSPORTATION
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Woodburn finds that
these amendments are necessary to preserve the health, safety and general
welfare of the public.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN TO ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 20.B of the Woodburn Subdivision Ordinance
be amended to read:
B. WATER COURSES: If a subdivision or partitioning is
traversed by a water course such as a drainage way, channel,
or stream, there shall be provided a storm water easement
or drainage right-of-way conforming substantially with the
lines of the water course, and such further width as will
be adequate for the purpose of the water way.
Section 2. That Section 23.E of the Woodburn Subdivision Ordinance
be amended to read:
E. Where a determination of need has been established,
a seven (7) foot bicycle path shall be constructed along
major arterial and collector streets, as defined in this
ordinance.
Section 3. One copy of the adopted amendments to the Subdivision
Ordinance shall be filed with the City Recorder and one copy shall be avail-
able for public inspection upon demand in the Planning Department.
Section 4, This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared
to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by
the Council and approval by the Mayor,
