ORDINANCE N0. 1733
AN ORDINAND RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1615 HARDCASTLE AVENUE
FROM RM (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT} AND RS (SIPJGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT} TO CO (COMMERCIAL OFFICE DISTRICT}.
WHEREAS, Woodburn Zoning Ordinance and the laloodburn Zoning ~1ap made
pursuant to said ordinance have heretofore established certain use zones or
districts within the City of Woodburn; and
WHEREAS, zone change proceedings have heretofore been had before
the ~~oodburn Planning Commission and the Common Council in accordance with
Chapter 16 of the Woodburn Zoning Ordiance; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of ~^loodburn deems this
reclasification to be in the public interest and to be in satisfaction of a
general public need, and is in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan, now,
therefore,
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN:
Section 1. The following described property within the City of
Woodburn, Marion County, State of Oregon, is hereby reclassified from RM
(,Multi.-Family Residential District) and RS (Single Family Residential District)
to CO (Commercial Office District):
Beginning at a point on the North line of Hardcastle Avenue in
the Town of ~Joodburn, Marion County, Oregon, said point being
300,04 feet North 86° 30' West from the intersection of the North
line of Hardcastle Avenue with the Westerly line of the relocated
Pacific Highway, said point of beginning also being on the
Easterly line of a five foot tract of land conveyed to Clair K.
~Jelson and Irene M. Nelson, husband and wife, by deed recorded
in Volume 272, Page 460 of Deed Records for Marion County, Oregon;
thence North 8° 40' East along said Easterly line 258.6 feet; more
or less, to a point on aline being the Westerly extension of the
Southerly boundary line of a tract of land conveyed to Peter E.
Anderson by deed recorded in Volume 325, Page 505 Deed Records
for Marion County, Oregon; thence South 86° 30' East 115 feet
to and along the South line of said Anderson tract; thence South
8° 40' West 258.6 feet, ore or less, to the North line of Hardcastle
Avenue; thence North 86° 30' West 115 feet along the North line
of Hardcastle Avenue to the point of beginning.

Section 2. The City Adr~inistrator is hereby directed to correct
the Woodburn Zoning Pap to the reclassification herein made.

Ordinance No, 1733 one of which said copies posted in the
Ci1ty Hall on the bulletin board next to the entrance to the
Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling public;
a second one of said copies posted on the Woodburn Public
Library Bulletin board at 280 Garfield Street, in full view
of the traveling public; a third one of said copies pasted
on the Community Center bulletin board at 491 N. 'third St.,
in full view of the traveling public; that all of said
