Ord 1758COUNCIL BILL NO. 641 ORDINANCE N0. 1758 AN ORDINANCE ALLOWING ANNEXATION OF CERTAT~.N PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF WOODBURN CITY LIMITS, AND SOUTH OF THE MEADOW PARK PHASE I PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, AND WEST OF STATE HIGHWAY 99E. WHEREAS, certain property located south of Woodburn city limits, and south and adjacent to Meadow Park Phase I Planned Unit Development, and west of State Highway 99E, shall properly be a part of the City of Woodburn, and WHEREAS, Richland Enterprises, Incorporated, a Delaware corporation, owner of said property, has expressed a desire to annex to the City and has petitioned the City Council to do the same, and WHEREAS, the tract of land is adjacent to the existing city limits and is inside Woodburn's Urban Growth Boundary, and WHEREAS, Woodburn's Comprehensive Plan Map designates this area for residential development upon annexation; now, therefore, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN: Section 1. That the boundary change incorporate into the City of Woodburn the following described 42 acre tract: Beginning at an iron bar on the West line of the B. S. Bonney Donation Land Claim No, 47 in Township 5 South, Range 1 West of the Willamette Meridian, in Marion County, Oregon, which iron bar is 901.56 feet North 11°00' East frgm the Southwest corner of said claim; and running thence North 11 00' East along said West line of the B. S. Bonney Donation Land Claim, 1100.88 feet to an iron bolt at the Northwest corner of the South one half of said claim, thence East along the North line of the South one half of said claim, 2371.73 feet to an iron pipe in the Westerly line, 600.00 feet to an iron rodb thence North 63 56' West 261.58 feet to an iron rodb thence- South 80 52' West 414.73 feet to an iron rod; thence South 0? 29' West 350.46 feet to a point in a South line of that certain tract of land conveyed to Lawrence J. Paradis and Marilyn V. Paradis by deed recorded io Book~~508, Page 187, Marion County Deed Records; thence South 87 40 30 West 534.90 feet to a re entrant corner in the South line of said Paradis Tract; thence South 02°17' West 212.72 feet to an iron bar at the most Southerly Southwest corner Page l - COUNCIL BILL N0. 641 ORDINANCE N0. 1758 of said Paradis Tract; thence South 87°41' West along the South line of said Paradis Tract, 102?.62 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. That a certified copy of this ordinance, when passed, be transmitted to Marion County Commissioners for acknowledgement and recording.
