AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN A FUND DURING
THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes allow the transfer of appropriations
within a given fund after the budget has been approved and during the year for
which the appropriations are made, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to transfer appropriations within various
city funds to meet estimated expenditures within designated budget categories
during the fiscal year 1981-82; now, therefore,
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the following budget transfer of appropriations is
hereby authorized:
General Fund
Transfer From:
Materials & Services - Non Departmental $ 6,000
Transfer To:
Materials & Services - City Hall Maint. $ 6,000
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary far the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, in that there is a present need for the
expenditure and the expenditure cannot be made until the appropriation transfer
is authorized, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.

that I caused to be posted three copies of Ordinance No. 1778, one
of which said copies posted in City Hall on the bulletin board adjacent
to the entrance to the Recorder's Office, in full view of the traveling
public; a second one of said copies posted on the Woodburn Public
Library bulletin board at 280 Garfield Street, in full view of the
traveling public; a third one of said copies posted on the Woodburn
Community Center bulletin board at 491 N. Third Street, in full view
of the traveling public; that all of said places are public places
