AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATID AT THE CORNER OF
387 BROADWAY AND "C" STREET FROM R~~ (~![[JLTI-FA~~ILY RESIDNETIAL) TO IL
(LIGHT INDUSTRIAL).
~~-~REAS, the Woodburn Comprehensive Plan ~~ap made pursuant to said
ordinance has heretofore established certain use zones within the City of
Woodburn, and
ti'~~EREAS, zone change proceedings have heretofore been had before
the Woodburn Planning Commission and the Com~rion Council in accordance with
Chapter 16 of the Woodburn Zoning Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Woodburn deems this classi-
fication to be in the public need and is in accord with the Comprehensive Plan,
and
W~i~.EAS, the Corrrr~on Council finds that it would be in the public inter-
est to allow uses permitted in III on the subject parcel now, therefore
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF WOODBURN DO ORDAIN:
Section 1. The following described property within the City of ~~'oodburn,
Marion County, State of Oregon, is hereby reclassified from RM (l~~ulti-Family
Residential) to IL (Light Industrial). Lot 8, Block 3, Woodburn Packing Co.,
Woodburn, Marion County, Oregon.
Section 2. The City Administrator is hereby directed to correct the
Woodburn Zoning Map to the classification herein made.

I, BARNEY 0. BURRIS, Recorder for the City of 6oodburn, Oregon, do
hereby certify that I caused to be posted three copies of
Ordinance No. 1782, one of which said copies posted in City Hall on
the bulletin board adjacent to the entrance to the Recorder's Office,
in full view of the traveling public; a second one of said copies
posted on the Woodburn Public Library bulletin board at 280 Garfield
Street, in full view of the traveling public; a third one of said
copies posted on the Woodburn Community Center bulletin board at
491 N. Third St., in full view of the traveling public; that all of
said places are public places within the corporate limits of the
City of Woodburn and all of said copies were posted on the
15th day of July , 1982.
