AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR
1982-83, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes 294.450(3) allows the transfer of
appropriations from the General Fund to any other fund after the budget has
been approved and during the year for which the appropriations are made; now,
therefore,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following budget transfer of appropriations
is hereby authorized to meet estimated expenditures for legal services:
General Fund
Transfer From:
Materials & Services (Non-Departmental) $10,700
Materials & Services (City Hall Maint.} 3,000
Personnel Services (Finance Dept. } 2,300
Marion County Loss Sinking Fund
Transfer To:
Materials & Services $16,000
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, in that there is a present need for the
expenditure and the expenditure cannot be made until the appropriation transfer
is authorized, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
