AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZINu THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR
1982-83, AND DECLARING ,qN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes 294.450 allows the transfer of
appropriations ~tilithin a funa after the budget has been approved and during the
year for which the appropriations are made; now, therefore,
TFIE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following budget transfer of appropriations is
hereby authorized to meet estimated expenditures far a new telephone system:
General Fund
Transfer From:
hlaterials & Services (Police Departments $18,000.
Transfer To:
Capital Outlay {Police Department) $1x,000.
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, in that there is a present need for the
expenditure prior to June 30, 1983, an emergency is declared to exist and this
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Gauncil and approval
by the Mayor.
