ORDINANCE N0. 1835
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN INSURANCE PAYMENT FOR REPAIR OF A CITY VEHICLE
DURING FISCAL YEAR 1983-84, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statute 294.455 provides for the appropriations
of funds to repair property which has been damaged involuntarily, and
WHEREAS, a Police Department vehicle was damaged in an automobile
accident and the expenditure for the vehicle repair was made from a budgetary
line item prior to the receipt of the insurance check, now, therefore,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLO6~JS:
Section 1. That appropriations for the repair of the vehicle be
increased as follows:

General Fund - Police Department
Materials & Services X2,630
TOTAL EXPENDITURES $2.630
Section 2. That the amounts set forth in Section 1 are hereby
authorized to be appropriated for its specific purpose.
Section 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, art ei~~ergency i s
declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
