ANNEXATION OF CITY OF WOODBURN INTO WOODBURN RURAL FIRE DISTRICT
QUESTION: Shall the City of Woodburn be annexed to Woodburn Rural Fire
Protection District for fire protection and emergency medical
services?
EXPLANATION: The City now provides fire protection and emergency medical
services within the city limits. The Woodburn .Rural Fire~Protection District
provides these services within the limits of the district.
The proposed annexation would form one unit of government serving the entire
area within the present city and district with fire and emergency medical
coverage.
Money to operate the proposed district would come from tax assessments to
property owners within the newly formed distric°tfl
