ORDINANCE N0. 1914
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF OPERATING CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATIONS
WITHIN A FUND DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-85 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes 294.450 allows the transfer of
general operating contingency appropriations within a fund after the budget
has been approved and during the year for which the appropriations are made, and
WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 772 and 773 appointed the Mayor as
Administrator Pro Tem and provided for a salary increase during his tenure, and
WHEREAS, a transfer from General Fund Operating Contingency is
required to provide for the unanticipated increase in personnel services
within the Mayor and Council's organizational unit of the General Fund
budget; now, therefore,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following budget transfer of General Fund
Operating Contingency appropriation is hereby authorized to meet estimated
expenditures in the office of Mayor and Council during fiscal year 1984-85:
GENERAL FUND
Transfer From:
General Fund Operating Contingency $ 4,092
Transfer To: Mayor and Council
Personnel Services - Salaries $ 3,800
Personnel Services - Worker's Compensation 24
Personnel Services - Social Security 268
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist and
this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and
approval by the Mayor.
