Ordinance 1930COUNCIL BILL NO. 904 ORDINANCE NO. 1930 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DONATIONS RECEIVED DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1985-86, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes 294.326 provide for the expenditure of donations transferred to a municipal corporation for specific purposes in the year of receipt, and WHEREAS, a donation of $200.00 from the Woodburn Woman's Club has been received for the purpose of purchasing Oregon Collection materials for the Library, and WHEREAS, a donation of $300.00 has been received from Margaret C. McKibben for the purpose of purchasing a replacement copy of the "Old Believers" film for the Library, now, therefore, THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That appropriations be established and increased for fiscal year 1985-86 as follows: LIBRARY FUND: Donation $500 Total Library Fund $500 TOTAL REVENUES $500 EXPENDITURES LIBRARY FUND: Materials and Services $500 Total Library Fund $500 TOTAL EXPENDITURES $500 Page 1 - COUNCIL BILL N0.904 ORDINANCE N0. 1930 Section 2. That the amounts outlined in Section 1 are hereby authorized to be appropriated for their specific purpose. Section 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, in that expenditures cannot be made until appropriations are adopted, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
