Ordinance 1939COUNCIL BILL NO. 922 ORDINANCE NO. 1939 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DONATIONS RECEIVED DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1985-86, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes 294.326 provide for the expenditure of donations transferred to a municipal corporation for specific purposes in the year of receipt, and WHEREAS, a donation of $200.00 from the Woodburn Eagles Auxiliary has been received for the purpose of purchasing large print books for the Library, now, therefore, THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That appropriations be established and increased for fiscal year 1985-86 as follows: LIBRARY FUND: Donation $200 Total Library Fund $200 TOTAL REVENUES $200 EXPENDITURES LIBRARY FUND: Materials & Services $200 Total Library Fund $200 TOTAL EXPENDITURES $200 Page 1 - COUNCIL BILL NO. 922 ORDINANCE NO. 1939 Section 2. That the amounts outlined in Section 1 are hereby authorized to e appropriated for their specific purpose. Section 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, in that expenditures cannot be made until appropriations are adopted, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor. ~, ~ g ,.~~~ ~ ~ WILLIAM J.
