Ordinance 1942COUNCIL BILL N0. 925 ORDINANCE N0. 1942 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 1266 (ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1266 established fire zones within the city of Woodburn, and WHEREAS, the designation of fire zones was based upon the 1967 Edition of the Uniform Building Code, and WHEREAS, fire zones are no longer designated in the current Uniform Building Code, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 1266 (establishing fire zones) is hereby repealed. Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate preser- vation of public peace, health, and safety, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
