ORDINANCE NO. 1945
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1641, ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF
WOODBURN ON AUGUST 14, 1978, TO SET FORTH THE MANDATES REQUIRED BY
SENATE BILL 405 OF THE 1983 LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY, KNOWN AS THE
"OPPORTUNITY TO RECYCLE ACT," WHICH IS NOW INCORPORATED IN OREGON
REVISED STATUTES, 459.165-200 and 250.
THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. To Section 7.(1) of Ordinance No. 1641 shall be
added a~sub-section (j), which shall read as follows:
(j) The Franchisee must provide all customers within the City
of Woodburn with the opportunity to recycle and must comply with the
requirements of Senate Bill 405 (1983) as now incorporated in Oregon
Revised Statutes 459.165-200 and 250, and all rules and regulations
promulgated thereunder.
Section 2. The maximum rates set forth in Exhibit "A" to
Resolution-No. 771, which Resolution was approved by the Woodburn
City Council on the 12th day of February, 1985, effective March 1,
1985, shall remain in effect upon the adoption of this Ordinance.
Such rates shall be changed in the future only by the adoption of a
Resolution by the City Council.
Se__cti_on 3. All other provisions of Ordinance No. 1641 shall
remain in full force and effect.
