ORDINANCE N0. 2017
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DONATIONS RECEIVED DURING FISCAL YEAR 1988-89, MAKING
APPROPRIATION, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Oregon Revised Statutes 294.326 provides for the
expenditure of donations transferred to a municipal corporation for a specific
purpose, and
WHEREAS, private donations not to exceed $3,750.00 have been
committed to the City for the purpose of hiring a part-time staff person to
assist the Recreation Center Committee in their efforts to compile a feasibility
report for a year-round recreational facility within the community, now,
therefore,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That appropriations be established and increased for
fiscal year 1988-89 as follows:
REVENUES
PARK AND RECREATION FUND:
Donation $ 3,750
Total Park & Recreation Fund 3,750
TOTAL REVENUES $3,750
EXPENDITURES
PARK AND RECREATION FUND - Leisure Services
Personnel Services $ 3,750
Total Leisure Serv. Program $ 3,750
TOTAL EXPENDITURES $3,750
Section 2. That the amounts outlined in Section 1 are hereby
authorized to be appropriated for their specific purpose.

Section 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, in that expenditures cannot
be made until appropriations are adopted, an emergency is declared to exist and
this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage by the Council and
approval by the Mayor.
