To whom it may concern,
Per the "Notice of 1~'inal Assessment", dated 12/29/U9,1 am enclosing a written objection
to the dollaz amount affixed to my property, for the "replacement of trees and sidewalk
repairs".
• In eazly 2009, prior to the actual repair work, I agreed with the assessment amount
of $1,118.02, when the repairs were based on the replacement of my trees, as well
as sidewalk repairs.
• Before the repairs, I had (3) trees around the front and side of my property. I now
have (1) tree. One of the three trees (directly in front of my house), was
removed and not replaced. It was seeded over with grass. The second of
three trees (on the side of my house) was relocated approximately six feet
from the original location, and now sits outside of my property line, in front
of my neighbor's .yard.
• The sidewalk repairs around my house were insignificant. No azeas had to be
replaced or lowered because of tree root problems. There were three small
areas that appeared to be lightly sanded down.
If the original c~st..assessed on my property_is.,truly.~ased__orLStte "rcplac~nn~.ut_'._o~#~ tr~~~~ _. - .
and "sidewalk repairs", I object. I now have one tree on my property, vs. the three trees I
originally had. Also, I don't feel the "sidewalk repairs" were significant enough to
warrant the costs applied.
I am willing to pay my fair shaze for the work performed. I ask that the council consider
lowering my cost, based on the actual work performed.
spectfully,
~~
