Ord 2453 - Supplemental Budget
COUNCIL BILL NO. 2780 ORDINANCE NO. 2453 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2008- 2009 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Oregon State Statute 294.480 allows for the adoption of a supplemental budget during a fiscal year to meet changes in financial planning, and WHEREAS, the Notice of Supplemental Budget Hearing and Financial Summary was published in the Woodburn Independent on June 3, 2009 as required under State budget law; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 8, 2009 to give citizens an opportunity to comment on the proposed 2008-2009 supplemental budget, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the supplemental budget for fiscal year 2008-2009 is hereby adopted as set forth below. Section 2. That fiscal year 2008-2009 revenues and appropriations are adjusted as follows: Revenues Appropriations GENERAL FUND Revenue Adjustments: Miscellaneous Income - Police 5,500 Ready to Read Grant — Library 4,346 Grant — Police Assoc. That if any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or portion of this ordinance for any reason shall be adjudged invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, section or portion of this ordinance directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment is rendered. Section 4.
