RESOLUTION NO. 1926
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO TRANSFER ADDITIONAL
CITY FUNDS TO THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ADDRESS
COST OVERRUNS AND CHANGE ORDERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE OR HIGHWAY
214/SETTLEMIER/BOONES FERRY INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the request to increase City
funding contribution provided to the Oregon Highway 214/Settlemier/Boones
Ferry Intersection Improvement Project, and
WHEREAS, the City is obligated by an Intergovernmental Agreement No.
23,291 to provide match and any non -participating costs, including all costs in
excess of the federal funds provided, and
WHEREAS, the City's negotiated share of the incurred cost overruns and
change orders is $70,000 of an estimated $120,000, and
WHEREAS, the City has contributed prior to this action $653,167 to the
construction costs of the intersection improvement project, and
WHEREAS, the total City contribution to the intersection improvement
project that includes preliminary and final design, construction engineering,
construction management, and construction contract is $789,975; NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council authorizes the City Administrator to transfer $70,000 of
City Transportation System Development Charge money to the Oregon
Department of Transportation to address the identified cost overruns and
change orders associated with the construction of subject project.
