Res 1925 - Growth Management GrantCOUNCIL BILL NO. 2767 RESOLUTION NO. 1925 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WOODBURN TO APPLY FOR A TRASNPORATION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT GRANT FROM THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND OREGON DEPARTMENT OF LAND CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development sponsor a joint Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) grant program for local governments; and WHEREAS, An eligible use of the TGM grant program is for a corridor plan along Hwy 99E that combines transportation and land use planning; and WHEREAS, the City desires to improve the visual appearance of Hwy 99E and guide future development with improved access management, local street connectivity, and pedestrian and bicycle safety; and WHEREAS, the outcome of this effort will be a Highway 99E Corridor Plan that will provide the planning document that will guide implementation mechanisms; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City of Woodburn be authorized to apply for a Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation and Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development for $ 202,532.00 to develop a Hwy 99E Corridor Plan as specified above.
