RESOLUTION NO. 1906
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE AN
ENGINEERING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF
STREET TREES AND TO PERFORM SIDEWALK REPAIRS IN THE
IRONWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD
WHEREAS, the City Council considers the replacement of street trees and repairs to
sidewalks in the Ironwood neighborhood to be necessary and beneficial; and
WHEREAS, The City, by policy, only replaces street trees and repairs sidewalks when
they pose a public safety issue and the adjoining property owner does not assume
responsibility for the corrective actions required; and
WHEREAS, the cost associated with this improvement project will be assessed against
the benefited properties; and
WHEREAS, only benefited properties as determined by the City Council after public
input and after passage of the appropriate ordinance will be subject to said assessment;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has established procedures for the assessment process by
Ordinance No. 2105; NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF WOODBURN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Engineer is directed to prepare an Engineer's Feasibility Report in accordance
with Ordinance No. 2105 regarding street tree replacement and sidewalk repairs in the
Ironwood neighborhood}
