Ord 2427 - Supplemental Budget COUNCIL BILL NO. 2692 ORDINANCE NO. 2427 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007 - 2008 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Oregon State Statute 294.480 allows for the adoption of a supplemental budget during a fiscal year to meet changes in financial planning, and WHEREAS, the Notice of Supplemental Budget Hearing and Financial Summary was published in the Woodburn Independent on November 14, 2007 as required under State budget law; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on November 26, 2007 to give citizens an opportunity to comment on the proposed 2007-2008 supplemental budget, now, therefore, THE CITY OF WOODBURN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the supplemental budget for fiscal year 2007-2008 is hereby adopted as set forth below. Section 2. That if any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or portion of this ordinance for any reason shall be adjudged invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, section or portion of this ordinance directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment is rendered. Section 4.
