A. Urban Renewal meeting minutes of February 23, 2026
Motion: Schaub/Bravo... adopt the Consent Agenda.
The Motion passed with the following vote: Members Schaub, Grijalva, Cantu, Cornwell, Bravo, and
Wilk. voting"aye." [6-0]
URG #2026.02—575 and 585 N. Front Street I Graciela's & Jerusalem
Economic Development Director Johnk provided a staff report.
Motion: Schaub/Cantu... approve the Building Improvements Program Grant Application (Program)
from the owner of the properties located at 575 and 585 N. Front Street, Graciela's Salon and Jerusalem,
Turk Investments LLC (Applicant), for 50% of the lowest bid received ($26,348) in the amount of
$13,174. Program funding is requested for repairs and replacement of the roof system on the buildings,
per the proposal submitted.
The Motion passed with the following vote: Members Schaub, Grijalva, Cantu, Cornwell, Bravo, and
Wilk. voting "aye." [6-0]
URG #2026.03—237 N. Front Street I K-Bron Brewing Co
Economic Development Director Johnk provided a staff report.
Motion: Schaub/Bravo... approve the Building Improvements Program Grant Application (Program)
from the owner of the property located at 237 N. Front Street, K-BRON Brewing Co., Salvador Gasca
(Applicant), for 50% of the lowest bid received ($6,217) in the amount of$3,109. Program funding is
requested for installation of fencing and gate around back patio of restaurant,per the proposal submitted.

URG #2026.04—253 N. Front Street I Costa Azul
Economic Development Director Johnk provided a staff report.
Motion: Schaub/Cantu... approve the Building Improvements Program Grant Application (Program)
from the owner of the property located at 253 N. Front Street,Multiservicios Costa Azul Corp., Griselda
Escott Villa and Javier Toscano Hernandez (Applicants), for 50% of the lowest bid received ($27,500)
in the amount of$13,750. Program funding is requested for storefront restoration and improvements to
include window and door replacement and framing structure repairs as well as painting the exterior of
the building upon completion.
The Motion passed with the following vote: Members Schaub, Grijalva, Cantu, Cornwell, Bravo, and
Wilk. voting "aye." [6-0]
Mayor Lonergan noted that the Urban Renewal Budget will be a part of the Budget Process on the 25th

Wilk. voting "aye." [6-0]
